The Whole Armor of God

After the awesome prayer meetings we've been having here in Michigan with our Tuesday night group, I really am feeling a need that this scripture is very important for all of us and very needed to use as a confession everyday!  God is calling His people to arms for we wrestle not against flesh and blood.  Please stand firm on His word for we are in the time in history where it is needed everyday! Ephesians 6:10-20  New King James Version (NKJV) The Whole Armor of God 10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  11  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against  principalities, against powers, against  the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual  hosts  of wickedness in the heavenly  places.   13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand  in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Confession for the Elderly in Prayer

Prayer for the Elderly By Jean-Marie Heavenly Father- As I go into my elderly years, I ask for Your strength and mercy to assist me with my physical, mental and spiritual health.   Your promise abounds in me and I thank You every day for it.   For You have said to me in Your word that:   Even to  your  old age, I  am  He, And  even  to gray hairs I will carry  you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry and will deliver  you. (Isaiah 46:4)  I proclaim this, Your promise that was made upon my life in the name of Jesus! Now also when I am old and gray headed, Oh, God, don’t forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. (Psalm 71:18) Thank You, Lord for Your almighty wisdom and power that sustains me in my walk with You, which will go until the very end of my life here. I praise You for granting me Your wisdom in my life.   Your will is all I’ve ever wanted to do.   I pray that what has been manifest

Claiming Your Day For the Lord

Claiming Your Day and Walk By: Jean-Marie Father, In the name of Jesus, I come before You and I claim this day for You. For this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) Guide me into spending more time with You, not letting my prayer time be the only time that I spend with You, in Your presence. Rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, in everything I do giving thanks; for this is Your will God in Christ Jesus for me. Fullness of God

Fullness of God : Study on Ephesians 4 Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Jesus called us to serve therefore He gave us forgiveness through grace. This is what led us to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is God's Spirit. In the above scripture, Paul is explaining that there is only one truth and that is that God is the only one above us in our ministries and in all we do, once we have given our lives to Him. The Holy Spirit comes into your life when you accept Jesus into your life. You must ask for God's Spirit to awaken within you, for the fullness of God to become prominent in your life, which makes it possible for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to manifest in you, as well as, the fruits of the Holy Spirit. When you accept Christ into your life you are getting a pack

Forgiveness & Grace

The forgiveness we need is towards others. As we have received forgiveness of our sins through Christ Jesus, we also need to learn how to forgive others. In not forgiving others it can eat away at your very soul and can do your body physical harm, this is a known fact. It can also effect your spirit and your walk with God. Ephesians 4:31 & 32: Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even  as God in Christ forgave you. The first thing you need to work on after becoming a Christian is learning to forgive others, as Jesus has forgiven you. This would include anyone who did you wrong or hurt you in the past. For the Unforgiveness can bring a bitterness, that allows hatred into your life and what you want now after becoming a Christian is to love and let go of all the worldly sorrow. As you see in the scripture above, that there is a lot of bad things t

Short Talk on Prayer

A Short Talk on Prayer By Jean Marie "Our prayers must mean something to us if they are to mean anything to God." Maltie D. Babcock Luke 18:9-14: Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God I thank You that I am not like other men- extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." In this parable, Jesus is speaking of two different kinds of pr

#Prayer for #Parkland #Florida

Heavenly Father,  We are a nation that is grieving, yet another, horrible school shooting.  Lord, we lift our hearts up to You and ask for Your peace and love to come forth to sustain us, as we grieve the loss of life with the families in Parkland, Florida who lost the one's they held so dear to them.  Give us the strength as we walk through this anguish.  Show us how to put a stop to such acts of evil being done and brought upon by our youth.  Let us come together in this time as a nation that is under God, to become unified with our decisions.  Help us to become a people that shows love instead of hate through all of what is happening.  We give this up to You, Lord.  Thank You for Your mercy and grace.  Also, thank You for the peace and love that only You can show us how to give in this time of mourning. In Jesus' Precious Name,  AMEN John 13:34  English Standard Version (ESV) 34  A new commandment  I give to you,  that you love one another:  just as I have l
