Fear : Bondage of a False Truth

Image
"Fear is the bubble of bondage surrounding the people of God (His Church), that is stopping us from uniting to do God's work." What does this mean? Fear lies and deceives us into a false belief of who we are in Christ, what God wants for us, why we should or should not do as God wants us to do. Look at the past year and what was the biggest player in the evil within it? The answer is FEAR. There has been so much fear from the pandemic, fires, bad weather, political & racial unrest, a heightening fear of death, and losing all that we have as far as the freedoms we have to the keeping of our jobs. False Evidence Appearing to be Right = FEAR , this is the only acronym that I have found describing what this bondage is like. This is a fabrication of the mind that hurts you mentally, while it tries to creep its way into the deepest part of our soul. This is what causes the bondage within us that can cause us physical, mental, and even spiritual anguish if allowed in...

Therefore No Condemnation In Salvation

Therefore No Condemnation "Not by our views or opinions but by #God's grace and love are what leads the #sinner to God's eternal goodness!" Pastor Jean Marie By putting God in the center of our lives, we look at the world in a different light. We look to the love of God and His goodness to save those who are sinners and don't know Him. Through God's forever gracious love we are to leave our opinions and judgments behind. Romans 8:1-4  There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the f...

Change Our World, Oh God!

We take life forgranted, thinking that we will be here forever.  We don't realize how fast our life can change nor if we will be around the next minute, hour, or day.We need to live each day like it's our last.  This is something we hear a lot.  But the truth cannot be ignored, we actually need to live each day as there is no end, so we can encourage others. Ask yourself what type of legacy do I want to leave, one that promotes my faith, my beliefs, and show the love of Christ to the world, or a life that is full of judging others, being self-righteous, and only being angry and hateful to others in the world?  Do you want to wake up and see the goodness of God every day and the people around you that need to be loved? Or are you looking at each day in dispair and who is going to put you in a bad mood for the day?  If you want to change but can't.  If you want the world to see you as a good person but you just don't know how to become that person.  I...

#Strength for Covid 19 Pandemic

By the time I realized that Covid-19 was actually a very serious virus, there was a lot going through my mind.  The fears and anxieties that we face everyday, were trying to take control of my mind.  My thoughts would race, what are we going to do, are my family and friends safe, do we have enough food and TP, and so on, just like everyone else.  I began to see that these thoughts could overtake me in a way that I didn't want to go.  I know that God is in Control and I know how to control my thoughts, but this was new to me and something different that I needed to learn.  So, one scripture that was running through me at this point was Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"  I realized that I was moving at too fast of a pace within my mind.  So, as I started to read this everyday, I knew that I needed to close my mind to the thoughts of panic and anxieties, and to be still f...

Healing Prayer/ Coronavirus

Hi everyone- We are living in an unusual point in history where lies and panic have taken control of the world.  We need to look to God for the answers and quit listening to the world, who has no understanding of the peace you can receive from God.  This virus is NOT a wrath of God, as He is a loving God who gives Mercy and love, He scolds us in different ways.  Stand firm on the scriptures such as Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 91, both defense for our healing and protection.  Remember, the enemy is out there to deceive, destroy, and to kill, all the good works of God.  We as Christians need to speak up and take arms on our knees in prayer.  I've written a prayer this weekend for healing.  I pray that all who read this to be healed in the name of Jesus and also that this will help you all gain the peace that Jesus and the Holy Spirit bring into this world. Many blessings! Jean Marie Heavenly Father- As I begin this prayer, I ask that Your Holy Spirit w...

Thanksgiving & Praise

With Thanksgiving a day away, we need to stop for a moment to take a look at what we’re thankful for.   The next few weeks will be full of spending time with family, friends, and those we love. Whether it be time spent talking in person, texting each other, or on the phone because of the approaching holidays or just catching up on the years events that were missed from not seeing each other for a while. We need to take a moment, from the hustle and bustle, to reflect and seek God.   We should be thankful every day, no matter what things may lie ahead for that day, God needs to be thanked. There is so much going on in our great country right now that sometimes we lose sight of what there is to be thankful for. Why should we thank God, you may ask, or why should we even praise Him when times are so tough?   We can't give the gifts this Christmas that we would like to.   Well, I can't think of a time that this is more needed! God inhabits the praises of His people...

Faith Prayer

Faith Prayer Heavenly Father- I repent this day for all my wrong doings and ask You, Lord for forgiveness this day.  I ask that You bestow upon me the faith I need to be closer to You.  I, also, ask for the words that Jesus spoke in Matthew 17:20, for those words to manifest in my life, to be the kind of faith that can move mountains. I claim all knowledge and understanding of Your word, for I know that what it says is truth!  Open my eyes that I may see the path you have before me and open my ears that I may hear what you are trying to speak to me.  Teach me to trust with Your wisdom of what You, Lord, are showing me to do with my life.  Let me learn to let go and let God.  Help me to believe that You have chosen the best path You would have for me to go.  Thank you so much for what You have done in my life and what You are about to continue to do in my life.  Let others see in me, who You truly are, so that they may experience the freedo...

Thanking God

Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life we tend to forget that we need to not only ask God to answer our prayers, but we need to Thank God for answering our prayers.  God has shown me through the years that it is just as important to thank and praise Him, as it is to come before Him with our needs and wants.  Why do we just assume He owes us answered prayers and not thank Him?  Isn't He worthy of our praise and thanksgiving?  After all He sent His only Son, Jesus to die for us.  It puzzles me as to how many Christians forget how important this is, and how many churches don't teach this anymore.  When you give someone a gift, don't you expect at least a thank you for that gift?  So, why do we hesitate in thanking our Father in Heaven for all He's done in our life? If you have noticed on this prayer blog the first statement I make in my prayers is a thank you to God, it is usually my ending statement in a prayer as well.  This solidifies my res...

June / July 2019

Sorry that I haven't posted for a while.  There's been a lot going on in my family that had to have some attention the past couple of months.  I praise the Lord for all He has been doing and truly have nothing but praise to offer Him.  The amazing challenges and obstacles He has turned into something good and blessed us mentally, spiritually, and most of all physically in our time of need, which is way more than what we could've asked for.  God is truly good all the time! One thing that I've learned the most throughout this 2019 Spring/Summer is that we need not to worry about one single thing for God is in control if you learn to Surrender all that you are and have to Him and Him alone.  God has turned sorrow into joy and failures into success, just by giving it all to Him.  Who knows better than our Father in Heaven as to what needs we have that bring us grief, anxiety, and worries.   1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) 6  Therefore humble yourselves...

Memorial Day Reflection & Prayer

Today has been our Memorial Day in the USA for our fallen soldiers. Those who served our country for freedom giving the ultimate sacrifice for that purpose.  We need to reflect what this freedom means and quit allowing those freedoms from being stomped on.  It's time to stand as a country for the rights of all not just the minority but for all.   Stop forcing your opinions on others, learn to love them instead.  Stand for what you know is right, by showing people the truth not forcing it on them.  Also, research what you stand for and have an open mind.  It does us no good to argue with each other.  We all have a right to freedom and that's what the men and women in this great nation have fought for. Remember, Christ gave the first ultimate sacrifice at the cross for everyone of us!  Freeing us from sin and death, through His atoning blood. Also, remember the soldier who gave that sacrifice for our freedoms, for God and Country!  We ...
