Thanksgiving & Praise 2020

Thanksgiving & Praise 2020   First, you may be asking yourself, what should Thanksgiving look like in the year 2020?   Let us take a look at the year that has changed so many of our lives, and still continues to.   Since Thanksgiving Day is almost here, we need to start this week and end this week with thanksgiving for what we have gained and remember the challenges we have faced, to be able to THANK and PRAISE GOD for getting us through each hour of each day of this past year to now.   We have faced many things including loss of family members, a pandemic, loss of jobs, loss of financial security, mental health issues, strange weather, chaos with civil unrest, political deceit, and some have even lost their faith.   So, you ask, how is it we can be thankful for anything?   Well, God does know that there are a lot of us that are having a problem with prayer, thanksgiving, and praising Him.   He understands each of our situations, howev...

Turning From Our Wicked Ways

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves , and pray , and seek my face , and turn from their wicked ways ; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin , and will heal their land . Through this season, we keep seeing this scripture, mainly on social media sites.  God is trying really hard to show His people what is going on, yet are we LISTENING?   Are we turning from our wicked ways? These are the questions that we, the church need to look at. I haven't been hearing compassion too much on social media or in public places that much. We need to love one ano ther as we love ourselves and love God above anything or anyone. Are we ACTING upon this scripture? Are we LOVING unconditionally? We need to REPENT from our ways and start sharing the love that God has given us in a very productive way, leading others who need Him to SALVATION.  Ezekiel 33:8-9 KJV When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, ...

#Strength for Covid 19 Pandemic

By the time I realized that Covid-19 was actually a very serious virus, there was a lot going through my mind.  The fears and anxieties that we face everyday, were trying to take control of my mind.  My thoughts would race, what are we going to do, are my family and friends safe, do we have enough food and TP, and so on, just like everyone else.  I began to see that these thoughts could overtake me in a way that I didn't want to go.  I know that God is in Control and I know how to control my thoughts, but this was new to me and something different that I needed to learn.  So, one scripture that was running through me at this point was Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"  I realized that I was moving at too fast of a pace within my mind.  So, as I started to read this everyday, I knew that I needed to close my mind to the thoughts of panic and anxieties, and to be still f...

Healing Prayer/ Coronavirus

Hi everyone- We are living in an unusual point in history where lies and panic have taken control of the world.  We need to look to God for the answers and quit listening to the world, who has no understanding of the peace you can receive from God.  This virus is NOT a wrath of God, as He is a loving God who gives Mercy and love, He scolds us in different ways.  Stand firm on the scriptures such as Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 91, both defense for our healing and protection.  Remember, the enemy is out there to deceive, destroy, and to kill, all the good works of God.  We as Christians need to speak up and take arms on our knees in prayer.  I've written a prayer this weekend for healing.  I pray that all who read this to be healed in the name of Jesus and also that this will help you all gain the peace that Jesus and the Holy Spirit bring into this world. Many blessings! Jean Marie Heavenly Father- As I begin this prayer, I ask that Your Holy Spirit w...

Thanksgiving & Praise

With Thanksgiving a day away, we need to stop for a moment to take a look at what we’re thankful for.   The next few weeks will be full of spending time with family, friends, and those we love. Whether it be time spent talking in person, texting each other, or on the phone because of the approaching holidays or just catching up on the years events that were missed from not seeing each other for a while. We need to take a moment, from the hustle and bustle, to reflect and seek God.   We should be thankful every day, no matter what things may lie ahead for that day, God needs to be thanked. There is so much going on in our great country right now that sometimes we lose sight of what there is to be thankful for. Why should we thank God, you may ask, or why should we even praise Him when times are so tough?   We can't give the gifts this Christmas that we would like to.   Well, I can't think of a time that this is more needed! God inhabits the praises of His people...
